2012 is the National Year of Reading and together with other libraries around SA we will be involved in the campaign to keep the spotlight on reading. Keep checking this page for events as details are confirmed.

February 14th - Morning Tea to launch the National Year of Reading.

April 19th 10am - Guest author, Liz Harfull, author of the Blue Ribbon Cookbook will launch her latest book, Women on the Land. $3 admission and morning tea provided. Meg's Bookshop, Pt Pirie will have Liz's books available for sale. All welcome.

Premier's Reading Challenge - students from our school have been participating since the Challenge began. This year we hope to reach a milestone of 300 students completing the Challenge.

Read & Rhyme Time for parents and caregivers with under one year olds, 10.30am  and a second group for toddlers, 11.15am are held most Tuesdays during school term time. Ring the library for dates on 88251511.
