Moonta Community Library 2017

Since 2015 the library has been part of the SA Public Libraries One Card Network.

The One Card Network allows access to Public Libraries across South Australia, making available to patrons millions of books, DVDs, CDs and magazines. Items can be reserved in the library, or you can simply go online wherever you are, and place holds that will be sent to the library ready for your collection.

Also available to patrons of the state library network are digital applications, RBdigital gives you access to over 500 magazines online and the new Libby App allows you to access ebooks and audio books online. Library staff are happy to support you in discovering these updated applications that are available through the library network.

The library also supports the community offering Read and Rhyme sessions to parents and carers of babies and toddlers, this is a wonderful opportunity to lay strong foundations for early literacy development through song, rhyme and story.

The library has a free Justice of the Peace service available on Tuesday afternoons from 3:00 to 3:30 no booking required.

Moonta Community Library is now accreditation as an eSmart library. eSmart promotes safe and responsible use online and essential skills for lifelong learning in the digital age.
