Moonta Community Library 2017

Since 2015 the library has been a part of the SA Public Libraries One Card Network.

Every Moonta Community Library patron is now a part of the state library network connecting more than 130 public libraries across South Australia to let you borrow and return items wherever you go, using your current library card. You have access to millions of books, DVDs, CDs and magazines. With access to multiple libraries, the materials in all of these libraries are available to you. We can reserve items for you in the library or you can simply go online, wherever you are, and use the reservation system to look up items and reserve them with a click.

Zinio is also available to patrons of the state library network. Zinio is your FREE access to over 400 magazine titles. Library staff are available to support you in logging in and downloading free magazines.

Additional information about our services is available by following the links on this page.

Read and Rhyme time continues to be popular. Sessions are held at 9.15am on Friday mornings. Come along with your babies and toddlers and have lots of fun and meet other parents. Please check the library’s Facebook page to check whether sessions are scheduled due to ongoing construction and roof replacement in the library.

The library has a FREE Justice of the Peace service on Tuesday afternoons from 3pm to 3.30pm in the Library Conference Room. No bookings required.
